Article 2.4 - Resignation

The President may, at any time at their own discretion, choose to give up their power and title. In the event that they choose to do this a new Election shall begin immediately. The President shall remain their title and power until the new Election has concluded.

The event shall function as if the Presidential term ended, they are still eligible for reelection.
